Auditions, Callbacks, Rehearsals, and Performances held at the
Community Center in Camarillo
Auditions in early January 2027
Performances March 19-21 at the Camarillo Community Center Auditorium
Participants must be 11 to 18 years of age on March 21, 2027.
General Audition Requirements:
Auditions will last approximately 2-2.5 hours and will consist of singing, dancing, and cold readings from the script. Bring an up-to-date calendar – you will be asked to list all possible conflicts for the entire rehearsal period! (Actors are not expected to be at all hours of each rehearsal – if we know about conflicts ahead of time, we will try to work around them where we can.)
Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothes you can move in easily, and wear jazz shoes, character shoes, sneakers, or other closed-toed shoes that remain securely attached to your feet.
For the singing audition, prepare a 1 minute song not from the show but in a style similar to the show. Bring a track of your music cut to the correct cue and in the correct key.
Your music track should be accompaniment only (no vocals) and be downloaded to your device, or you may email it to us at info@fableforgeplayers.com anytime before 6 pm the night prior to your audition.
Important Information:
- Callbacks: By invitation only, date TBD
- Fees: All cast members must enroll in the Teen Theatre Workshop. There is a $275 registration fee with PVRPD, plus a separate materials fee of $75 due directly to Fable Forge Productions.
- Parent/Guardian Meeting: at the Camarillo Community Center. The cast member and at least one parent/guardian must attend. Scripts will be distributed once the $75 materials fee has been collected and all completed paperwork has been submitted.
- Rehearsals: Early January through mid-March
Two evenings a week, plus Sunday afternoons – Exact times TBD
Actors will NOT attend all hours of rehearsals – a detailed rehearsal calendar and weekly call-sheet will be provided after casting. - Tech Week: March 14, Noon-6pm; March 15-18, 5:30-9:30 pm
Actors and crew must attend all Tech Rehearsals. - Performances: March 19 & 20 @7pm, March 21 @ 2pm
Actors and crew must be available for all performances.
