Class Descriptions Fall 2026

Improv & Theatre Games
ages 12-18

Saturdays 1:30-2:45 pm
9/26-10/24

Learn how to think on your feet, listen carefully and actively, and adapt in the moment all while working with others in collective storytelling.  (And you’ll most likely laugh a lot too!)

Students will share several of their favorite improv games at the Fall Showcase.

Character Scene Study
ages 12-18

Saturdays 3-5:30 pm
9/26-10/24

Learn techniques for building the physical and emotional life of characters.  Strengthen your character’s action in a scene by exploring given circumstances, status, stakes, objectives, obstacles, and tactics while working with a scene partner.

Prior acting experience recommended but not required. This class will perform either a short one-act or several short scenes at the Fall Showcase.

Monologue Workshops

Small-group sessions where you will learn how to score a monologue and shape the character arc for effective storytelling.

Selected monologues will be rehearsed and performed at the Fall Showcase.
